SPLNTR was born and raised in Katowice, a city of southern Poland known for its heavy industrial past and legendary hip-hop scene. At the age of 12, he immigrated to Lyon, France where he started digging turntablism and beatmaking. In association with the young emerging rapper Robinson-The Fraudulous One, SPLNTR publishes on the internet a first LP that they will later decide to withdraw. Eloquence Equivoque was composed of 10 tracks. Inspired by artists such as [KRTM], Tripped, Somniac One or Ansome, his universe was built by exploring the different genres of Hardcore and Tekno, to finally blossom in the darker and more bewitching side of Industrial Techno. Producer for seven years, SPLNTR also expresses himself through visual arts like photography and painting he associates with acid soundscapes and metallic sounds. Fueled with distortion, melancholy and 303’s, his tracks build an atmosphere where hard sounds collide with coldness and despair.
