The first album by Comunidade Evangélica de Nilópolis was "Descerá sobre ti", recorded in Rio de Janeiro in 1990. Despite many financial difficulties and precarious precarious conditions for the recording of the album, the ministry managed to be in first place on the main radio stations in Brazil, without making any kind of media, with more than 150,000 copies of records sold at the time. Some of the songs on the album, such as "Jesus is the Covenant", "It Will Come Down on You" and "Touch the Garments", have been recorded by other singers in different languages. With the growth of the worship ministry, 1992 saw the birth of the community's second album, "Dom da vida" (Gift of Life). This album took special care in the musical production, with elaborate arrangements, the intention of which was to demonstrate that the music played in the Church should not be synonymous with bad songs and arrangements, but rather with excellence. This album sold more than 120,000 copies. The ministry went through a valley, a treatment from God, a time of reflection and searching for the real will of the Father. This resulted in a deep cry to the Lord for the church to rise up with a new motivation for worship and edification. In 1996, already in another media format, the CD "Levantarei a minha casa" was born to revive and give a new phase to gospel music in Brazil. to gospel music in Brazil, being one of the pioneers, if not the first Ministry of Praise to make a record putting God's people in the foreground (a daring move for the time, the target of several criticisms, but which, in fact, was a revelation coming straight from the heart of God). The Lord worked in such a supernatural way that one of the songs on the album became the hymn of evangelicals, with the song "Não há Deus Maior" (There is no greater God), reaching the mark of 800,000 copies sold. This song was and is sung not only by evangelicals, but by people of all religions. It won several awards such as "best song" and "revelation group". This song continues to make history to this day, giving rise to a new moment in the career of Comunidade Evangélica de Nilópolis. We also mentioned several other songs from this album, such as: "Aguaceiro e Chuvarada", "O Teu Caminho", "Paixão do Mundo", "Levantarei a Minha Casa". Churches all over Brazil and the world sang and danced in the presence of God. In 1998, the greatest cry Brazil had ever heard emerged: "I WANT GOD!". The people weren't content with shouting this refrain and added "EVERY DAY, EVERY HOUR, NON STOP!". As a result of this success, the album sold over 1 million copies in its first year. Every corner of Brazil could hear the echo of the song "Eu quero é Deus" (I want God), which was printed on T-shirts, stickers and caps. A strong statement from people who had God in their lives. All the songs on this album were played and are still played in churches today, such as: "In my father's house", "He who is happy", "God heals this nation", "Celebrate with joy" and many others. In 2000, a compilation was recorded to commemorate the band's 10-year career, featuring their greatest hits and an unreleased song, which gave the album and Vhs their title: "PAI NOSSO" (OUR FATHER). With this work, the Evangelical Community of Nilópolis was able to show not only its music, but its performance of mass evangelization through praise, which is exactly what it has been doing for the past 10 years. After four years without recording an album of unreleased songs, many compositions emerged, and it was even difficult to select the repertoire, since the responsibility was great, as the ministry came from several established songs in Brazil and around the world, thus generating great expectation from the evangelical people. In 2002, the album "Vamos celebrar" (Let's celebrate), where the whole of Brazil and declared "I WANT TO BE A MAN AFTER GOD'S HEART", with the song "Cria em Mim", generated several testimonies and life changes in evangelicals and people of other religions. Not to mention the songs "Deus transforma" (God transforms), "Vamos Celebrar" (Let's celebrate), "Deus tem levantado" (God has raised up), among others. In 2005, the album "No céu" came as a declaration of love for God, which again brought joy through the song "Dance, dance". The song "Father" was the highlight of the album and has touched many lives. The album sold over 100,000 copies (gold record). In 2006, celebrating 16 years of career, Comunidade Evangélica de Nilópolis, one of the biggest Praise and Worship bands in Brazil and the world, was crowned at a unique moment in its career, recording a CD and the first DVD in its history, in one of the biggest concert halls in Latin America (Via show) located in Rio de Janeiro, whose main mark was to revolutionize congregational evangelical music with a lot of jubilation, joy, praise and worship of the King of Kings, Jesus. This CD and DVD achieved the "gold CD and DVD" mark. The unprecedented audio-visual work by producer Rafael Oliveira includes remarkable testimonies, clips, a special appearance by Baby Do Brasil in "Eu quero é Deus" and Valéria Lúcia in "Hoje eu vou tocar nas vestes", a special acoustic, a complete discography, ciphers, making of and photos. In 2011, Comunidade Evangélica de Nilópolis presented its newest album, "Geração Fiel". The new album was designed to change a generation that needs God, through a message of faith and hope, with the songs, "Pedir com Fé", "Geração Fiel" and "Sem fé é impossível". The choice of repertoire was based on the characteristics of the Nilópolis Community, which are worship, praise, outcry and, above all, a lot of joy, which has been the Ministry's trademark over the years. For eight years they have re-recorded their greatest hits and created projects with new formats. hits. IN 2019, Comunidade Evangélica de Nilopolis launched the single, "Médico dos medicos", with the aim of bringing faith and the certainty of God's care into our lives. In 2020, in the midst of the political and economic crisis that the country and the world are still facing today, due to the global pandemic, whose nation is plagued not only by the disease, but also by the country's financial problems and uncertainties, the Ministry launches the song "Nação Brasil", transmitting to the Brazilian people the Brazilian people, hope and faith in a God who can help us, heal us and deliver us from evil. As the song says: "He is your help, A thousand will fall at your side, Ten thousand at your right hand, You will not be struck down, Brazil Nation, Let's seek Him who can deliver you, Brazil Nation let's worship Him who can heal you". The song inspires confidence and protection in times of difficulty and brings peace based on the book of Psalms 91 in the Bible. In the midst of the global pandemic and social distancing, the band's music producer and drummer, Rafael Oliveira, made the audio and video recordings of the participating musicians possible separately, achieving an incredible final result.
