‘Institute For Noises, Social Topography, Urbanism and the Study of Non-Places’ is a collective of non-artists, non-philosophers, non-musicians, non-urbanists, non-cinematographers that documents the effect of sounds and noises from urban spaces and the role of the space itself in producing status differences and how status hierarchies give shape to cities and how the structure of cities imposes hierarchical frameworks. The collective (of the Institute) is based on a very loose connection between its members, where not all members are active on all projects or being part of them. Every study, project etc will be available for free to the public (even if it happened to exist in a physical format for any justified reason). Any part of any study (if there will be any) can freely be used from anyone as long as not promote authoritative, fascist, racist and sexist ideas or has the intention to use it for commercial purposes.
