Ann Stark

Canadian journalist, broadcaster, promoter and producer from Winnipeg, Manitoba active since 1965. Her promotion company was Morning Girl Productions. She was music columnist ('Spins and Needles') for the Winnipeg Free Press and worked at Winnipeg radio stations CFRW and CKY (music director for the latter). She also hosted a show on CBC and worked for CKY-TV. In 1973 she moved to Edmonton, Alberta to work at Century II Records (2) as head of Public Relations but soon transitioned to music director at CITV, where she would work in different capacities for the next two decades.
