Early 1990s punk rock band from El Cajon, California. Formed by Mike Chapman (vocals), Robbie McDonald AKA Rob Logic (guitar), Monica Sierras (bass), and Raul Campuzano (drums). They made their debut at the Spirit Club in San Diego in December 1991. Their first EP, Made Me Do It!, was recorded the following December and released on cassette by local label Amigo Records. Sierras left (later joining Dodgeball) and was replaced by Mark Andrilla. A split 7" with Faux Pas (6) followed on Amigo, a second cassette EP on Gag Records, and a self-titled album. Cranial Vacancy played their final show at the Soul Kitchen in El Cajon in May 1994. A one-off reunion show occurred in 2002.
