UK rapper, now known as E=mc2, who collaborated with M|A|R|R|S, Soul II Soul, S'Express, Jolly Roger, Uschi Classen, and 7th District Inc. No connection to Italian producer Emix. For M|A|R|R|S, he re-recorded the vocal chant for the U.S. release of "Pump Up The Volume". The original sample in the UK remixes is taken from "Mean Machine (Chant)" by The Last Poets and goes "Automatic, push-button, remote control; synthetic, genetics, command your soul." Emix's version instead goes "Rhythmatic, systematic, world control; magnetic, genetic, demands your soul."
