The Psagot Band is a band that mainly performs at parties, it was founded with David Kribushi as a singer in 1975 and later was replaced with Itzik Zamir. In 1994, it released an album called "We Came to Make Joy", which was a great success mainly due to the song "Zingerla", the Hebrew words of which were written by Sharit Barness based on a gypsy tune by Burda Novkovic. "Zingerla" became a big hit in Israel and following the The Psagot Band it was recorded by other artists including Enrico Macias, who recorded it in French for his performances in Israel that year... Miri Mor, the band's singer, is a native of Eilat, who was first discovered in Shalom Hanoch's "White Wedding" show where she appeared as one of the backing singers.
