Danish funky blues-rock group formed by Søren Lindemann, Svend Broholm, Rene Dam and Jørgen Ehlers in Odense in the autumn of 1984. From time to time the Lindemann Band also included choir girls: either Anita Lykkegaard or Jeanett Krüger or both. In addition, the group was supplemented by Asbjørn Bech Jessen on keyboard at the end of 1986. In November 1984 Shakin' Stevens gave a concert in Odense Idrætshal i.a. backed up by the wind section "The Rumour Brass". After the concert, The Rumour Brass went to Hansens Værtshus for a beer, but it ended with them jamming merrily with the Lindemann Band. This was the start of a collaboration where "The Rumour Brass" was flown in on special occasions - e.g. Midtfyn Festival 1985 and 1986. In the summer of 1987, "Rumour Brass" was again in town in connection with Multimusikugen and here the live record "Lindemann Live" was recorded at Magasinet 31 July. In 1988, the band took a longer break, but was restored in the autumn with Jens Lohmann on keyboards. In 1989-90 the Lindemann Band performed together with Mike Whellans. After some quieter years, Lindemann finally stopped in 1993.
