Laurent Ben Slimane

French bass clarinet player and professor. Born in 1975 in Nogent-le-Rotrou, Eure-et-Loir, France. He studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur De Musique Et De Danse De Paris (1997-1999). He joined the Philharmonia Orchestra in May 2005 as Principal Bass Clarinet. Founder member of Ailleur5 in France. Professor of Bass Clarinet firstly at The Guildhall School Of Music & Drama for ten years and then at the Royal Academy of Music (since September 2014).
