Psychedelic trance Dj producer from Norwich, UK 'Van Der Trip' is a UK based Trance project of "Pawel Dambek". After starting his musical journey in the Metal scene he switched over to electronic musicto put his own spin on Trance. Inspired by the likes of Deadmau5, Phaxe, Eric Pryz and Morten Granau, he took on his own unique approach towards this genre, leaving out the overly complex melodies and gimmicks as well as the monotonous nature of most Trance music. In exchange he brought in massive crescendos and dynamics all weaved around raw melodies; this combination allows him to capture the listener and take them on a proverbial 'Trip' where they're anchored to recognizable elements while surrounded by a vast array of external elements that elevate his songs.All unnecessary fat is removed from his craft, there are no gimmicks to cover up the lack of ideas, that's why his music works so well wherever it's played.Somewhere between Tiësto’s In Search of Sunrise , Oakenfold’s Tranceport and Armin van Buuren’s Boundaries Of Imagination lies another Trance subgenre amply explored by Van Der Trip on his track release, the 7-minute long “ELEMENTS”.There are no soaring vocals here and anything that could conceivably be considered “extra baggage” material was discarded, leaving us with the bare- bottom essentials for a simply awesome musical journey. If you love great trance or progressive house that slowly builds into something energetic and explosive, you’ll love this track.Though provoking, emotional, the bass-driven rhythm splits the body and soul apart and reintroduces them like long-lost lovers.
