Working with music since 1996, Renato Patriarca moves through various environments, scenes and stages of musical production. He started his career playing and producing independent “indie” bands in small studios around São Paulo. From 1997 to 1999, he attended the now renowned SAE (School of Audio Engineering) in London (UK) where he studied music production, sound engineering and music business more deeply. Back in Brazil, he found his place at Midas Studios. Initially assistant to some of the best technicians and producers in Brazil, he worked side by side with Paulo Anhaia, Lampadinha, Luis Paulo Serafim and Moogie Canázio; soon becoming the main sound engineer in Rick Bonadio's pop-electronic productions. In this trajectory, he collaborated on many successful records and careers that left Midas Studios since the 2000s, to quote; CPM22, Tihuana, Planta e Raiz, Rouge, Charlie Brown Jr, NX Zero and Titãs, this work is responsible for giving Renato the Latin Grammy for Best Rock Album of 2009. Currently, Renato is the studio manager, media and distribution director digital of the Midas Music label and right-hand man of Rick Bonadio in his recent productions on the discs of NX Zero (Parallel Project), Manu Gavassi, Rebels, Negra Li, Mika, Mariana Rios and MC Biel, in addition to signing all masterizations of the studio Midas since 2010. As a producer, Renato Patriarca is responsible for one of the biggest hits of 2014 with the song “Garota da Vitrine” by Dubeat. The song was among the 5 most played in Brazil between November and December 2014. Other successful productions include the single “Teach Me How To Love You” by the duo Audax (with which it reached the Top20 of the Dance chart of Music Week UK ), MC Biel's single “Boquinha” (17 million views on Youtube), among others. Renato also works in the electronic music scene. He was behind projects like Dubhead, Jazz-e and, especially, Minima, pioneers in Live PA (live electronic music) in Brazil. Its list of productions has already been launched by German, American and Italian labels and has already brought weight recognition by some of the big names in the world of electronic music scene. He currently directs the national labels Clash Music and Scandalo Music with which he has already launched Wehbba, Gui Boratto, Christian Smith, Silver City among others.
