Alpine / Oktoberfest show band out of Orlando, Florida, hence the name Sonnenschein "Sunshine" Express. The band was founded in 1989 by Martin Gross as a recording project and has played at select engagements, conventions and festivals ever since. Pops performances include Orlando, Naples, Tulsa, Long Beach, Wichita, Cincinnati, Madison, New Mexico, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Evansville and Jacksonville Orchestras with conductors Jack Everly, Andy Lane, Michael Krajewski, Erich Kunzel, Alfred Savia, Doc Severinsen and Andrew Sewell. All the members of the band have performed or still do perform with the "Oktoberfest Musikanten"", at the German pavilion at Disney World’s Epcot.
