Andreas Landegren

Swedish pianist and orchestra leader. Born September 10, 1978 in Sollentuna, Sweden. He grew up in Växjö and has been living in Stockholm since 1999. Landegren started playing piano at the age of seven and has educated at music school at the Cathedral School in Växjö, Fridhems Folkhögskola in Svalöv and the Royal Music University in Stockholm. Andreas Landegren has worked professionally as a pianist, arranger and chaplain since 2000. He has played in numerous TV productions, including two seasons by Lotta at Liseberg and has been chaplain for SVT's children's program Combo for three seasons. He has also made two state visits, to Thailand and Slovenia together with Johan Stengård, and was the orchestra leader for Carola Häggkvist's Christmas in Bethlehem 2005. In 2008 Andreas Landegren composed four sets for symphony orchestra and saxophone soloist for the photo symphony “Human reflection” with Johan Stengård. The performance was in Milwaukee October 2008.
