he Asmatik is a Long Island based hip hop producer, and 1st artist on The Cop Shop Records Imprint. Growing up during the "Golden Age" of hip hop in the Bronx certainly had a huge impact on his life. Heavily inspired by producers such as Lord Finesse, DJ Premier, Marley Marl, 45 King, Pete Rock, and others ... As always felt that he had what it took to preserve the essence of this culture in its purest form.
