Michael Pyne (2)

Enlisted into the Army in 1964 as a band boy. He is a graduate of the Royal Military School of Music, London and travelled throughout Britain during the Queen's Silver Jubilee in 1977 as a member of the famous Kneller Hall Trumpeters. Major Pyne was a senior instructor at the Army School of Music, Victoria, Director of the Band of the First Recruit Training Battalion, Kapooka and Officer Commanding / Music Director of the Band of the Royal Military College, Duntroon to which he was appointed in January 1983
