Katarina Dragojević

Swedish opera singer (mezzo-soprano), born July 14, 1970 in Stockholm. She is active on international stages such as La Scala, Covent Garden and La Monnaie. Dragojevic studied after Adolf Fredrik's music classes at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm and at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Her debut was in October 2000 as Kristina in Janacek's Fallet Makropulos at La Monnaie in Brussels. In 2012, she sang at La Scala as Cherubin at Figaro's wedding. At the Royal Opera in Stockholm, she has sung Cherubin in Figaro's wedding, En page in Salome, Meg Page in Verdi's Falstaff and the title roles in Xerxes and Carmen. Dragojevic was a soloist at the Nobel Prize Banquet in Stockholm in 2000 and has also participated in Kasper Holten's film adaptation of Don Juan.
