In 1956 he joined the Orquesta Benny García, then went to the Orquesta Hatuey and the Orquesta Venecia; With this last one he remained 25 years, later he goes to the Conjunto Moderno; He then passed through La Sonora Cubana and finally in 1990, with Los Fakires led by maestro Juan José Bringues Ochoa, who at some point in his career had worked with Benny Moré. With Los Fakires he recorded a CD.
