Machinery Hall

Boston based 3 piece modern rock band fronted by singer/songwriter Mark Nelson on guitar, with brother Michael Nelson on bass and Paul Buhl on drums. Machinery Hall combines thoughtful lyrics and melody-driven songwriting with thick walls of tone and rhythm, while not afraid of being loud, raw and energetic. The songwriting encourages the band to play with a variety of approaches from hard-hitting, to open and flowing while staying true to their modern rock roots. The live shows are well known for being completely unplanned, with the song selections relying only on the whims of front-man Mark Nelson. As a live band, MH is committed to hitting the stage in a completely vulnerable state, relying on an honest interaction between them and the audience to bring out the best possible musical experience for everyone, on both sides of the stage.
