1960s-1980s soul artist from Columbus, Ohio. Brother of June Carey and El Carey. Al Carey played trumpet, trombone, and sang with the Crowd Pleasers for many years. he moved to Studio City, California, in 2000 pursuing a dream of winning a Grammy for a DVD entitled “Tears Falling,” which he produced with a rapper named Life.
