Об исполнителе:
Kamil “Wrathu” Kwiatkowski was born in Gorzów Wielkopolski. He composes non-commercial, experimental instrumental music. He touched many different genres such as dark ambient postrock, industrial, darkstep, dnb, trip-hop, instrumental hip hop. But he’s still searching for new solutions and likes to collaborate with other musicians. He’s inspired by such artists as Nine Inch Nails, Rammstein, Linkin Park, Mark Morgan (4), Coil, Lustmord, Björk and others. He made his debut in the Internet thanks to the online magazine Trzynasty Schron (Vault 13) about postapocalypse in culture where he became an editor. For composition he uses mostly software and plugins (FL Studio, Nexus2) and for concerts he plays a MIDI keyboard E-mu xboard61. In 2015 he begins his collaboration with the ambient guitarist Sebastian Siuda (Mała Fuzja). They were awarded with a consolation prize at Getting Out 2015 and were given a grant from the president of Gorzów Wielkopolski in 2016 for their artistic needs. They played in four voivodeships, mostly Lubush Voivodeship. In Zielona Góra, a beatboxer Zgas performed “Inside” with them. In Żagań they supported a Polish industrial rock band Agressiva 69. Wrathu + Mała Fuzja recorded “The Nihilist” (2015, promoted by songs “Amoralism”, “Hypocrisy”, “Home” and “Tides”) and they released another album “Entropia” (2019, promoted by "The Maze", "Contemporary Pagan" and others) which is the first one with vocals and his first one released on a manufactured CD. Moreover, since 2009, Wrathu recorded seven solo albums, e.g. “Sólin” (2016, promoted by “Jörðin”), inspired by Iceland, much calmer than dark and pessimistic “The Nihilist”. “Sólin” (Icelandic for the Sun) has been described by Moll Płytowy as “deep alternative mixed with chillstep”. Sebastian Gabryel in a review described Wrathu’s music as remarkably emotive, resembling Icelandic experimental music, evoking such artists as Björk, Sigur Rós or múm. This is the album from which “Freyja” is from. During the performance of this song in Cigacice a thunder ended the concert. Another notable recording is a 3CD “13” (2012) which was released online for free on Trzynasty Schron with over 20 postapocalyptic short stories, photos and drawings by people from all over Poland. Wrathu, inspired by ambient and dark ambient, composed also soundtracks for Polish off films, e.g. postapocalyptic “Powód” (The Reason). He edits his music videos on his own. Sometimes, he used excerpts from films by Sky Piastowskie. After the last album he took part in a compilation “...Części Ciała, Fragmenty Duszy” (2017) by recording “Human Trees” with lyrics being a translated poem by Jacek Katos, recorded by Maciej Niedzielski at Exe Laboratories. He also contributed to an American electronic compilation “(Insert Comp Name Here) Vol. 02” (2018) and coordinated the creation of international compilation "Discordance I" (2022) made by musicians from the official Nine Inch Nails Discord channel. The same year, he published an album with Testral, "Wound Roots" (promoted by "Pain Go Away" and "Graduation Day") as Wrathu + Testral. Since 2023 he's available on streaming services.
