Viktorin Hallmayer

Austrian composer and conductor (September 5, 1831 – May 9, 1872) Composed the "Marcia Trionfale" in 1857 which was the first official pontifical hymn and anthem used by the Vatican City State. Hallmayer's anthem was used until it was officially replaced on the eve of 1950 by Charles Gounod's "Marcia Pontificale"
