Maria Zachariadou

Cello player and teacher, born in Stockholm, Sweden of Greek parents. She studied at Kungliga Musikhögskolan I Stockholm and the Royal Academy of Music. She worked with the Düsseldorfer Symphoniker for two years before moving to London to become a member of the Philharmonia Orchestra for seven years. Assistant Principal Cello of the BBC Philharmonic.
