Maria T-Ta Y El Empujón Brutal

Rock N' Roll Band from Lima, Peru (1986-1989) Founded by Patricia Roncal Zúñiga, better known as Maria T-Ta also the Singer and Lyricist, with Iván Zurriburri as Guitarist. Their style was defined as "Chongo Rock Teatral" (Theatrical Comedy/Parody Rock). Lyrics of the songs ridiculed the characters out of date in Lima Society. Marked as One of the Most Representative Groups of the Underground Scene by Teleguia Magazine (1987). Maria T-ta is considered the Pioneer of the Femenist Rock in Peru.
