Kamilla is a four-woman, one-man band from the American upper Midwest. Combining elements of metal, hard rock and goth, Kamilla’s music manages to balance heavy riffs, aggressive performances, and often dark lyrics with catchy hooks and strong melodies. The easy comparisons would be to Evanescence, Lacuna Coil, and Type O Negative, but Kamilla are their own band—the Kamilla sound is distinctive yet accessible and appeals equally to male and female audiences. Over the past three years their undeniable stage presence, outstanding original music, and incendiary live shows have built a growing and dedicated following in the local and regional rock scene. Audiences get off their chairs, bars become concert halls, and dance floors occasionally devolve into mosh-pits. Kamilla is definitely a band you don't want to miss.
