Jules Blanc

Jules Blanc, born around 1800, died around 1850, was a French organist and composer from Franche-Comté. He was organist of the Eglise des Cordeliers in Lons-le-Saunier and was at the initiator of the reconstruction of the organ by the Callinet brothers in 1842. Among his compositions, we know only his musical picture opus 14: the procession of the village festival surprised by a storm.
