Erna Ómarsdóttir

Icelandic dancer and choreographer, born in 1972. She's the artistic director of Iceland Dance Company and became a founding member of the collectives Ekki (Reykjavík), Poni (Brüssel) and Shalala (with Valdimar Jóhannsson). She has worked closely with visual artist Gabríela Friðriksdóttir and musicians Björk, Sigur Rós, Ólöf Arnalds, Jóhann Jóhannsson and Ben Frost.
