Bill Carter (15)

US tenor sax player. Husband of Dona Carter. Bill Carter, grew up in Neptune, New Jersey, and began performing in and around Asbury Park as a teenager. He could be heard at Springwood Avenue clubs such as Big Bill’s and the Orchid Lounge. He played often with pianist Dee Holland, and also appeared with his own groups.
