The Whore Moans (3)

The Whoremoans were an early postpunk /noise rock band in 1987 - 1990 based on Cape Cod, MA, USA. Formed by bassist John Tkacik and drummer David Silver during their time playing in skatecore band Crash Course, the band self-published a five-part album series on tape. Tkacik played bass and sang, sometimes adding guitar or more experimental elements using effects pedals, and created the artwork for the albums with handprinted labels on colored cassettes. Guitarists John Santos from Crash Course and Bill Close from The Freeze appear on some tracks, and Santos played with them live under the pseudonym P.V.C. Psychedlia Vapor Christ in 1990.
