David Ascanio Orozco

Canarian musician, singer and composer, he started from a very young age, always performing his own songs. In 2000 he moved to Madrid where he joined “La Cuadra”, a musical project by Miguel Bosé in which he participated together with other young artists. At the same time, David continues working to achieve his main goal: to record his own album, dedicating himself body and soul to composition and playing whenever he can in Madrid venues. In 2006 David Ascanio toured a good part of the Spanish geography with his music as Chenoa's guest artist on his "Nada es Igual" tour, with a great reception from the public. On July 1 his debut album - "Quien da +" is released under the Vale Music / Universal label. "No te extrañes" - with the participation of Chenoa- is the first single from the album, which also includes the collaborations of Miguel Bosé and Punto Muerto. His second album, “De mi parte”, released in 2011 is the end of a journey that began in the simplest way: a paper, a pencil and a guitar. It is a set of ten stories that could get anyone to get excited, dance or, in short, feel, with the sole presence of Ascanio and his guitar, but that after being produced by Iñaki García, David Pérez and the artist himself manage to fly up to limits beyond its own borders.
