One of three different string quartets to bear the name over the years. This third incarnation was formed in 1987 by Tommy Svanström (cello) and has since consisted of various musicians from Kungliga Hovkapellet (The Royal Court Orchestra). Primary since 1991 is Ylva Larsson (Svanström). It has been the most productive in terms of recordings.
