Felipe Padilla de León

born 1 May 1912 – died 5 December 1992 Classical music composer, arranger and conductor from the Philippines. Many of his compositions commemorated important events in Philippine history. Named posthumously National Artist of the Philippines in Music in 1997. A postage stamp was issued by the Philippines in his honor in 2012.
