Swedish opera singer (dramatic soprano), born June 18, 1963 in Södra Hestra parish in Småland. She studied at the Gothenburg Academy of Music, underwent soloist training at the Royal Danish Academy of Music and the Opera Academy in Copenhagen. In 1998, she was the sole recipient of the Danish Léonie Sonning Scholarship. Her professional debut took place in 1996 at the Royal Theater in Copenhagen, where she appeared as Donna Anna in Mozart's Don Juan.
