Decembered

Historical bio (2008): Decembered emerged between the end of December 2004 and the beginning of January 2005, during that tremendous thaw-time, which brought sudden spring to the January Moscow: puddles of melt snow, reflections of clouds tattered by the warm wind, disturbing hum of the city, rare tinglings of night streets stunned by the stream of warmth, cries of the demented birds singing in praise of sudden spring… It was the spirit of that time that inspired the new project - or, better, a chaotic set of sounds, embryos of melody conceived under cold fingers… Initially a solo-project, it is currently a trio; the band members are extremely different - both in their personalities, attitude, musical tastes, and goals, - and the resulting soundscapes reflect this quite well. Albeit it is difficult (and unnecessary for us, at least) to identify the single genre of the works, perhaps 'Chaotic Ambient' would be the most adequate. Current lineup: b. - soundscapes, arrangements, voices (occasionally) Bruma - voices Mantichore - voices, technical issues Current bio: Launched back in 2005, 'Decembered' was a one-man experimental project focused on creating immersive ambient soundscapes and other kinds of experimental music. The project was shut down in 2015.
