Vanessa Ellison

Singer/songwriter for Pylon and Supercluster. Born as Vanessa Briscoe in Atlanta, GA in 1955, she met the other members of Pylon while attending the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. She was first married to Jimmy Ellison (bassist of The Side Effects. After their divorce, he tragically died of a brain tumor. She then married musician Bob Hay (The Squalls,Bob Hay & The Jolly Beggars, Noogeez, Supercluster) in 1986. Their daughter Hana Hay is an artist/musician who wrote a song on Supercluster's album Waves and performs cello on another song. Hana is currently a bass player for the Sci-Fi punk band Green Thrift Grocery.
