Lilian Azevedo

Lilian Azevedo is a Brazilian gospel singer. Passionate about music, Lilian began her musical career doing backing vocals and acting as a speech therapist for big names in gospel music, such as: Aline Barros, Cassiane, Ludmila Ferber, Eyshila, Fernanda Brum, Kleber Lucas, among others. In 2005 she was invited to participate in the Acoustic DVD of Grupo Voices to speed up the recording, and it was in the production of the DVD that Lilian Azevedo received the invitation to be part of the group, and made her debut on the DVD “Voices Acústico e Ao Vivo” . Married to singer and pastor Marquinhos Menezes, in 2006 the couple received an invitation from Yvelise de Oliveira (President of the MK Music label) to record a live worship album, “Profetas Adoradores”, whose title song, Profeta Adorador (composed by the singer Eyshila) gained great prominence in gospel music and in 2011, the duo recorded the album “Eu Creio!”. After 4 years, she started the production of her first solo album entitled: “Tudo Novo”. Produced by Paulo César Baruk, the album had 11 tracks, and featured singer Eyshila in “Te Dou A Honra”, her daughter Sophia in “Tua Palavra” and Marquinhos Menezes in “Casa Restaurada”. Currently, Lilian acts as a leader of women in the Assembleia de Deus Vitória Em Cristo in Niterói (RJ). In 2022, she returns to the gospel music scene with the single: "Tua Graça Me Basta" featuring singer Fernanda Brum.
