Silas Fernandes

Silas began his trajectory as a teenager, playing in heavy metal bands of the legendary metal scene of the ABC of São Paulo. Participated in the band Sphinx, with Andreas Kisser - which years later would integrate the Sepultura. The guitarist also contributed to the groups Smoking Guns, of hard rock; Katsbarnea, of Christian rock; and more recently with the band S.T.A.B .. For the last fourteen years, he has worked extensively on instrumental compositions, released four albums. In 2010 he released his first live live for real DVD recorded on the same year's album 14 years tour. The DVD features the participation of Felipe Andreoli (Angra) on bass and drummer Edu Garcia. From 2011 to 2013 Silas has been traveling extensively throughout Brazil and the rest of the globe touring clinics and workshops collaborating with the pedal brand which is sponsored, the Asian Cherub that manufactures the Nu-X pedals. In these 3 years of intense activity he offered Germans, Americans and Chinese with his style and technical knowledge. He was present at the Musikmesse, Namm Show 2012, 2013 and 2014 fairs and, in 2013, at Music China in Shanghai. Now with the success of the program on youtube Setup on Fire where it makes demonstrations and technical comments about equipment, instruments and even behavior, Silas advances to another level of popularity and launches its own program in its YouTube channel SilasCF called Rig on Fire every second At night a new episode comes on the air. Silas currently lives in the USA, where, once a month, she launches programs in English aimed at the American public
