Producer and host of the Colorado Jazz Party, a three day event that was hosted in different cities, featuring jazz allstars playing together in different combinations each set, it ran for approximated 30 years, beginning in 1963. He also founded The World's Greatest Jazzband at the sixth annual event. He founded the Water Pik Company and sold it in 1967. He died of complications from diabetes at the age of 72 on June 17, 1998, in Denver Colorado.
