Lemon is a Belgian rockformation from Bruges. They became popular in Belgium because of the hitsingle ‘Summer Ghosts’ in 2001. Lemon wrote the music for the series ‘Kinderen Van Dewindt’. Lemon’s first EP ‘Summer Ghosts' was released by Parlophone/EMI in 2002. The singles 'Invincible' and 'Summer Ghosts' reached top ten spots in alternative charts. Their first full album followed shortly after. 'Magnetic' came out in February 2003 (EMI). Three singles proved very successful: ‘How you prove me wrong’, ‘Scream’ and breakthrough hit ‘Stay with me’. As a result, in 2005 the soundtrack album, with the series-anthem 'Blind' was released. This album contained many tracks from their breakthrough album 'Magnetic'. December 9th 2006 was a tragic day for the band, their families and friends. Founding member and ex-bassist Tom Vermeersch, passed away, in his hometown Bruges, of heart failure. He was 34. The band took a one-year-break and started writing new tracks for their third album. Bart Parmentier (ex-Two Russian Cowboys), joined the band on bass. The new album "Endless Days" is a combination of pop-rock melodies and experimental ideas. Release date was set on October 20th 2008 at RoughTrade. Line up: Hans Vermeersch - singing, guitar, piano Bart Parmentier - bass Tom Barbier - guitar, keyboards Dieter Guss - drums, percussion
