Benil Steimer

Benil Steimer has made field recordings since 1985. Especially in India but also in other countries such as India, Sicily, Germany and Sweden. These recordings can be heard under the name The Old Monk's Experience. Field recordings have also been used in Benils music projekts Ekiwojjolo, Death Must Die and Riskgruppen. Benil often collaborates with local musicians from Uppsala. Since 2019, Śrī Yushin Kurikkala is Benil's stage name.
