Simon Below

German Jazz Pianist Born 1995, based in Cologne. He studied Jazz at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne. In 2017 he won the „Steinway-Förderpreis NRW“. In 2018 he won in Avignon at the Jazzfestival the Grand Prix Du Jury. He is influenced by Kit Downes, Sylvie Courvoisier, Keith Jarrett and Bill Evans. Below played with Fabian Dudek, Jan Philipp, Yannik Tiemann
