Larry Martyn

Larry Martyn was a British actor. He is best known for playing Mr. Mash in the first three series of "Are You Being Served?". He also appeared in several episodes of "Dad's Army", two episodes of "On the Buses", "Grange Hill", "The Bill" and "Rising Damp". He also took over the regular role of Private Walker in the "Dad's Army" Radio Series following the death of James Beck and appeared in two of the popular "Carry On" films ("at Your Convenience" and "Behind"). Born: 22nd March 1934 in London, England. Died: 7th August 1994 in St Mary's Bay, Kent at the age of 60.
