Rita (born December 22nd 1942, died February 19th 2001) was educated in Baltimore City Public School. Raided as a Christian, Rita attended Centennial - Caroline United Methodist Church and under the encouragement of her Grandmother was the "Miniature Soprano" of the Gospel choir for many years. She recorded for Ru-Jac Records and after her singing career, she became a Teacher in an elementary class.
