Powerful Tramps

The seven-person band "The Powerful Tramps" was founded 1965 in Erlangen Germany. The band won the national-beat-cup and was designated as best franconian soulband. The line-up was Clay Baker from New York (leadguitar), Alf Schmucker (bass), Nicki Pickett (drums), Robert Silberhorn (organ and pipe), Fred Amon (trumpet), Ernst Rittweger (sax), and Leo James (singer). The band has had gigs with stars like Wilson Puckett, Joe Tex or Sweet Inspirations.
