William Kennedy (born January 16, 1928, Albany, New York, USA) is an American writer and journalist who won the 1984 Pulitzer Prize for his novel Ironweed. As big fan of Frank Sinatra, he has written liner notes for some of his anniversary and deluxe compilations.
