American Saxophonist and orchestra leader. Bloch (b. 1925) discusses his childhood in Los Angeles and his education at Jefferson High School. He continues through his career as an alto saxophonist in swing bands and later in Latin jazz bands.Saxophonist, flutist, composer and arranger Rene Bloch who began directing his own combos at the end of the 50's and was a fundamental piece of the Pérez Prado Orchestra as well as that of the pianist Johnny Otis in 1945.
