The Bandura Band of the Ukrainian Youth of America Union (aka "Girls Bandura Chorus") was a popular women's bandura ensemble that operated from the 1950s through to the 1980s at the Ukrainian Youth Union of America in Detroit (USA). The choir was organized in 1957 by conductor and artistic director Petro Potapenko with the participation of Anani Nikonchuk and Yevhen Repeta. At that time, it was the first group of bandura girls in the Western Diaspora.
