Eric Blau

Songwriter Born on 1 June 1921 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, U.S. Died on 17 February 2009 of pneumonia. His wife Elly Stone introduced him to the music of Jacques Brel, he fell in love with it and started translating his songs. Along with Mort Shuman he wrote the stage play "Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris" which debuted in 1968 and run for four years.
