Georgie Starbuck Galbraith

American female poet, lyricist, painter, and author. Born 1909 Brownington, Missouri, USA Died 1980 (70 years of age) Bakersfield, California, USA. Georgie wrote articles for Harper’s Magazine, The Atlantic, and the Saturday Evening Post, and was a friend of and sometimes co-writer with lyricist, composer and arranger Ralph Yaw. She was the author of Have One on Me (1963), and poems such as "White Revelations," "The Lost Stone"’ and "Teen-Age Tragedy."
