Hans Mosesson

Swedish musician, actor and theatre director, born on August 1, 1944 in Enskede, Stockholm, Södermanland and died on October 25, 2023 in Askim, Göteborg, Västergötland. Mosesson started with student theatre when he studied medicine in Lund. He dropped out of school in 1970 to begin as a singer and actor in the independent theatre group and rockband Nationalteatern. During these first years, he was also a part time film actor, to become more active in later years in films. For 13 years, until February 1, 2015, Mosesson played the role as a dealer for Swedish supermarket chain ICA, Stig, in their TV commercials and became known as "ICA-Stig". Hans Mosesson died in hospital, after a short period of illness, on October 25, 2023.
