Об исполнителе:
Barbershop style gospel quartet. First organized in 1985 by two time SPEBSQSA gold medalists, Mo Rector, to sing God’s praises. Mo gathered up three other gold medalists to join the group. The group consisted of Jerry Fairchild (Sidewinders) on tenor, Joe Mazzone (Regents) on lead, Dale Deiser (Mark IV) on baritone, and Mo (Gaynotes/Mark IV) on bass. This group started the annual Good News Gospel Sing at the SPEBSQSA International Conventions which has grown tremendously over the years. In 1992, Jim Foy of the Happiness Emporium replaced Mo as bass. The group went on travel to all across the United States and Canada singing God’s Praises in the barbershop style. They released a total of 6 albums in their time together which included over 60 songs. Eventually, Jerry, Joe, and Dale retired and Jim continued the Good News Quartet with the Happiness Emporium and still does gospel sings to this very day. Mo Rector died in 2003, Joe Mazzone and Jerry Fairchild died in 2014, and Dale Deiser died in 2018.
